KAPIT: In conjunction with the Chinese New Year celebration, Kapit District Council (KDC) will be collecting household bulky waste from residential areas in this district under its scavenging services contract areas from Feb 3-9.
According to a spokesman of the council, the areas involved those along Jalan Selirik, Jalan Ulu Sungai Kapit, Jalan Airport, Jalan Bleteh and Jalan Bukit Goram.
“All bulky waste include damaged and unused household appliances, furniture, wood, metal scraps and so forth. They can be placed in front of their respective houses for the convenience of the collectors from appointed contractors,” he said.
