SIBU: Political secretary to the chief minister Abu Seman Jahwie made a Hari Raya visit to Amanah Saham Nasional Berhad (ASNB) Sarawak region head Mohamad Zaidi Abdul Rahman in Jalan Bandong here yesterday.
Also present was Surau Darul Ma’wa committee deputy chairman Mohd Saleman Ibrahim.
Met at the visit, Abu Seman said that the tradition of visiting family members and friends during Hari Raya should be maintained.
He said the tradition of visiting could keep people close to each other.
“It is essentially a tradition of forgiveness and friendship and understanding, which is why understanding and tolerance among Sarawakians come quite naturally,” he said.
