KUCHING: National professional boxer Daeloniel McDelon Bong, also known as Kilat Boy, has been appointed as the Harakah Islamiah (HIKMAH) Sarawak Youth Icon 2024.
He formalised his role by signing the appointment deed alongside HIKMAH chief executive officer, Alwi Morshidi, during a courtesy visit from the Sahabat Belia HIKMAH (SBH) Sarawak today.
IIn a Facebook statement, SBH congratulated Kilat Boy on his appointment, wishing him success and smooth endeavours in his new role.
“May he be granted success and facilitated in all the matters to be undertaken,” the statement said.
Meanwhile, the courtesy visit aimed to exchange views on planning various aspects of SBH’s journey in 2024.
SBH Sarawak stated that any programmes or activities they plan to execute will be communicated through the official SBH Facebook and Instagram pages.
