Kindergarten to benefit Kampung Buntal folk

KUCHING: The Tadika Sedidik construction project in Kampung Buntal will benefit the local residents.

According to a report by the Sarawak Public Communications Unit (Ukas), Assistant Minister of Utilities and Telecommunications Datuk Dr Abdul Rahman Junaidi said that once the project was completed, the villagers would be able to send their children to the kindergarten.

The Pantai Damai assemblyman said it would also provide comfort to children with working parents.

Earlier, he was briefed on the construction of the new Kampung Buntal Tadika Sedidik.

Based on the briefing, the kindergarten would be equipped with a dining area, pantry, classrooms, and toilet facilities.

Also present were Kampung Buntal chief Joni Pawi, Sedidik acting general manager Siti Rodziah Bunsu Drahman, and Sedidik Quality Assurance Sector senior manager Awang Kederi Awang Mahdar.
