BAU: Kiningposah Teresa Shanon is crowned Dayung Sikora REDEEMS (The Association of Research and Development Movement of Singai Sarawak) (DSR) 2023.
The 24-year-old lass from Kampung Atas, Singgai, Bau, went home with RM2,000 in cash and other complementary prizes.
Meanwhile, 30-year-old Lisa Maria Henable from Kampung Laman Payang was awarded the first runner-up title, while kampung Bogag lass Melanie Melvy Betong, 21, was the second runner-up.
Lisa brought home a cash prize of RM1,500 and other complementary prizes, while Melanie took home RM1,000 in cash and other complementary gifts.
The list of winners was announced at a dinner night in conjunction with the 15th Gawai REDEEMS Carnival this year.
Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg officiated at the dinner night on yesterday.
All prizes to the winners were presented by the wife of Minister of Tourism, Creative Industries and Performing Arts Datin Seri Zuraini Abdul Jabbar.
Also accompanying Zuraini was wife of REDEEMS President Datin Rose Sandin.
