KUCHING: Ketua Kaum Islam Sarawak and community leaders (KMKK) paid a courtesy call on Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg at Wisma Bapa Malaysia here on yesterday (April 10).

Gabungan Masyarakat Ketua Islam Sarawak chairman Pemanca Roshidi Junai said the visit was to discuss with Abang Johari the issues faced by KMKKs in their respective areas.

“Apart from the problems faced by each KMKK, other matters that were discussed include allowance rate, which was below the level, and we had requested the Premier to consider this matter,” he said after the visit.

Representing the voice of KMKKs throughout Sarawak, Roshidi hoped that their allowances would be increased in line with the services provided.
