KAPIT: A warrant of arrest has been issued for a 35-year-old Iban man for criminal breach of trust.
The man, Rubin Banta was charged with three offences under Section 409 of the Penal Code. He was alleged to have committed criminal breach of trust at the Kapit Division Health Office involving RM192,101.47 on February 27, 2018.
However, Rubin had failed to attend the pre-trial case management at Kapit Sessions Court on 22 March, 2018.
The warrant of arrest was issued by Sibu Magistrate’s Court on 23 November, 2018.
