KUCHING: Angkatan Zaman Mansang (AZAM) Sarawak will be organising a knowledge sharing session on the topic on social enterprises next week.

According to a press statement, the programme will be held on Sept 15 at the HAUS KCH, City Square Pending Height 1, starting from 8.45am.

The half-day session of the talks is aiming to help familiarise participants with a few homegrown social enterprises and other community driven efforts.

Hence, the talks will be conducted by four Kuching based youth-led community-driven enterprises namely, Catama Borneo, WormingUp, The Champion Kch, and HAUS KCH.

AZAM said social entrepreneurship is a growing trend worldwide as the global community races towards a more sustainable world – socially, environmentally, and economically.

Sarawak is a part of this important effort with a number of supportive initiatives by the state government, and with a growing number of social enterprises and other community driven undertakings, it also said.
