KUCHING: Twelve units of stainless-steel trolleys were contributed to the new vaccination centre at Kozi Square today (June 15).

This donation project was initiated by Pemanca Datuk John Tiong and community leaders and village chiefs (KMKK) of Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP) Kuching branch.

The trolleys were handed over by Temenggong Datuk Tan Joo Phoi and Tiong to Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) director Dr Ngian Hie Ung, witnessed by Local Government and Housing Minister Datuk Seri Dr Sim Kui Hian.

Also in attendance at the handover ceremony held in Kozi Square’s lobby were SUPP Kuching branch treasurer Jong Yean Pin, Kapitan Kho Phek Choo, Kapitan Bernadette Geikie, SGH deputy director Dr Pamela Lee Yew Fong, and others.

These trolleys will be put to good use by the vaccination team at Kozi Square, as patients will be able to sit comfortably while medical officers push the trolley to them to administer the Covid-19 vaccine.
