KUCHING: KPJ Kuching Specialist Hospital donated five units of wheelchairs to Kuching International Airport (KIA) through their corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative here, yesterday.

The wheelchairs were handed over by Nurhazimah Mahat, General Manager of KPJ Kuching, along with the team from the hospital and received by a representative from Malaysia Airport Sdn Bhd, Ir. Jun Iskandar Bin Hj Murshidi, the Senior Manager Kuching International Airport.

The contribution also signifies the concern of KPJ Kuching Specialist Hospital to further strengthen the cooperative relationship in the future to provide a better level of healthcare quality to the residents of the state.

“It is in line with the motto of KPJ Kuching Specialist Hospital which is ‘Care for Life,” said Nurhazimah in a statement yesterday.

“The main objective is to ensure that the residents of the state receive the health care offered.

“We hope this collaboration can help the community and can do more in the future,” she said.
