KPJ Miri Specialist Hospital donated PPE to Miri General Hospital as a sign of support for their contribution in fighting Covid-19.

MIRI: KPJ Miri Specialist Hospital recently reached lent a helping hand in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic, carrying out its corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme at Miri General Hospital here.

Last Wednesday, KPJ Miri Specialist Hospital donated personal protective equipment (PPE) comprising 5,000 face masks, 100 pieces of protective suits, and 500 units of headgear to Miri General Hospital as a sign of support for their contribution in fighting the current pandemic.

KPJ Miri Specialist Hospital general manager Denis Saving Boniface in his speech said that it is very important in this current time for all healthcare-related industries to support and help each other.

This donation was aimed at helping medical frontliners and ensuring that they are well-protected during the Covid-19 pandemic.

With this donation, the hospital hoped to reduce the burden of public healthcare and provide adequate supplies of personal protective equipment (PPE) for Covid-19 screening and health treatment.
