KUCHING: Kuching City North Hall (DBKU) will have its monthly ‘Kuching Car-Free Morning’ programme twice a month.

DBKU said starting this month, the programme would be held in the first and third week of every month.

“The programme is aimed at reducing carbon dioxide emissions in the city as well as to provide an opportunity for local folk to take part in various healthy activities.

“This includes running, cycling, leisure walks, and many others,” DBKU said in a Facebook post.

On New Year’s Day, the Kuching Car-Free Morning programme attracted quite a number of people.

Previously, the programme was held on the first Sunday of every month, from 6.30am to 10am.
