KUCHING: The Kuching- Samarahan Expressway (from Emart Tabuan to Tabuan Tranquility Roundabout) will be closed temporarily for maintenance and resurfacing works.
The Sarawak Public Works Department issued a statement Dec 8, adding that the works start Dec 8 until Dec 12.
It added that the maintenance works from Emart Tabuan to the Tabuan Tranquility Roundabout will begin on Dec 8 to Dec 9. However, works from Tabuan Tranquility Roundabout to the Tabuan Jaya Roundabout will begin on Dec 8 to Dec 12 with a 9pm to 4am shift.
“Road users are asked to exercise caution when driving on the road while the resurfacing of work is ongoing.
“Do comply with all the traffic rules and management for safety until the completion of the works on the roads,” it advised.
According to the statement by JKR Sarawak, it will inform from time to time if there are changes involving the works and road users are also advised to plan their journey carefully.
