KUCHING:  Wee Pei Chai is the new president of the Kuching Toastmasters Club for the 2023-2024 term.

Other members of the 36th executive committee elected during the club’s recent annual general meeting (AGM) are presidents Albert Loi (education), Janice Lim (membership), and Nur Hasheena (public relations); Connie Tzen (secretary); Beatrice Ting (treasurer); Sante Boyer (sergeant-at-arms); and

Jonathan Huong and Kyle Chai (committee members).

During the AGM, past exco members were recognised for their achievements and contributions to the club.

Outgoing president Chester Bong paid tribute to his committee members for their dedication during his term.

For the record, Kuching Toastmasters Club is dedicated to enhancing public speaking and leadership skills with membership open to anyone aged 18 and above.

Established in 1988, the club has been active through regular bimonthly meetings and other events.
