KAPIT: Kapit Kwang Tung Association is trying its best to help its needy members and the less fortunate especially those who are ill with some cash assistance.
On Wednesday morning, Chairman Kong Sien Hua accompanied by some committee members visited a member, Teng Aik Chiang, at Kapit New Bazaar here as he has not been well for a while.
Kong said the association had given cash assistance to four less fortunate members who were sick.
He said although the amounts were small, at least they did their part to show their concern, adding that it was part of their welfare programme.
