SEBUYAU: The late former Head of State Tun Abang Muhammad Salahuddin Abang Barieng was a simple, friendly and unpretentious person.
Utility and Telecommunication Minister Datuk Julaihi Narawi (pic) surmised his person in this manner having been his accompanying minister back in the day.
He said this when met by the reporters at Rural Transformation Centre (RTC) on Saturday (Jan 29).
“We have indeed lost someone who is berjiwa rakyat,” he stated while extending his condolences to Salahuddin’s family.
The former Head of State passed away at the age of 100 at the Normah Medical Centre on Friday (Jan 28).
