KUCHING: The Land Custody and Development Authority (LCDA) have recently donated 12 boxes of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) in assisting the state governments to combat the spreading of Covid-19 virus.

The PPE includes isolation gown, CPE shoe covers, secure shield disposable boot cover and secure shield disposable hood cover.

The PPE equipment was handed over by LCDA senior manager of Corporate Affairs Division Saiful Bahari Amra Ramly to SDMC Secretariat representative Jamali Amat at the Old State Legislative Assembly (DUN) Complex yesterday.

“The contribution of the PPE is to protect the health and safety of our frontliners who are working 24 hours a day in dealing with Covid-19,” said Saiful.

He added that LCDA has always been supportive and grateful for the efforts of the state government through SDMC to curb the spread of Covid-19 virus and to protect the welfare of the people in the state.

Also present were LCDA Corporate Affairs Manager Sapheri Rosli and SDMC secretariat member Jong Ching Boon.
