Lecturers on educational visit to Naim

Date:

MUKAH: A group of 10 Politeknik Mukah (PMU) lecturers made an educational visit to Naim Land Sdn Bhd (Naim Land), Miri on Tuesday (Jan 25).

The group led by programme director Juhaidie Zamani Jamaludin and senior lecturer Norashikin Samsuri, were welcome by Naim Land acting general manager Alice Ting Kie Lang.

Juhaidie said the main objective of the visit was to share knowledge and expertise on engineering.

“It is also to foster closer rapport between both parties while exploring the opportunity for cooperation, especially in the field of civil engineering, as well as to strengthen collaboration between the institution and the industry,” he said.

He hoped the visit would also help in enhancing the management of civil engineering programmes and the employability rate of PMU graduates.

The group also visited Kolej Komuniti (KK) Miri, where they were given a warm welcome by its director Hazatta Morshidi.

It was a friendly visit and aimed at fostering closer rapport between the two institutions, while exchanging ideas and experience in the teaching and learning process.
