‘Let’s Stay Connected’ opens for registration

KUCHING: Kejiranan Mesra Kampung Demak Baru Fasa 2 is organising a “Let’s Stay Connected” activity in conjunction with 32nd Kuching City Day.

It is collaborating with the Village Security and Development Committee (JKKK), Kelab Rukun Tetangga (KRT) and  Kuching North City Commission (DBKU)  in the event.

“There are lots of activities such as Online Story Telling, ‘Bandaraya Ku Kuiz’ Kahoot! And Short Story Writing Competition.

“The genre of the story telling competition should be based on topics, titles and themes that revolve around love and moral lessons,” Kejiranan Mesra Kampung Demak Baru Fasa 2 said in a statement issued today.

The story telling competition offers RM350 to the first place winner, RM200 to the second place winner and RM100 to the third place winner.

The theme for the short story competition is sharing emotions and experiences on “Bandaraya Kuching & Covid-19@kita jaga kita.

The short story competition offers RM200 to the first place winner, RM150 to the second place winner and RM100 to the third place winner.

Meanwhile, the ‘Bandaraya Ku Kuiz’ Kahoot! offers a RM80 hamper to the first place winner, a RM60 hamper to  the second place winner and a RM50 to the third place winner.

The competition is open to the residents of Kampung Demak Baru Fasa 2, 3 and  Pantai Damai State Constituency aged 12 years and below.

The registration is free and the closing registration date for all the competitions is on September 5.
