KUCHING: In light with the coming Chinese New Year (CNY) celebration 2018, Liansin Trading Sdn Bhd has introduced the Butterfly New Crop Fragrant Rice with limited edition Chinese New year-themed design. Its Senior Marketing Manager Lim Boo Kiong said that the theme is more focus on pineapple and red colour design, which is also suitable for Chinese New year gift and decoration, especially the Butterfly rice packaging.
“Fragrance rice is only harvested only once a year and it is therefore extremely valuable, and when purchasing the rice, please recognise the ‘New Crop’ brand marking,” said Lim during a press conference held at a local restaurant, in Jalan Mendu, yesterday. He added that each packaging comes with free packet of five red envelopes (Ang pow) and can be collected in two designs.
Apart from that, Liansin also has New Crop fragrant for Mr. Thai and Royal Chrysanthemum rice coming with free gift of one set of high quality stainless steel spoon and fork for each packet of rice.
For the new crop cooking method, Liansin suggested that the ratio of water should be less than normal cooking method used. Liansin is one of the well-known wholesalers in Sarawak since its establishment in 2002, and commenced its operation on 1st of January 2003.
