Library board, development committee come a-calling

KUCHING: Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Openg today received two courtesy calls after chairing a state Cabinet meeting in the morning.

The first visit was by the management board of the State Library led by its chairman Tan Sri Datuk Amar Hamid Bugo.

It was to brief Abang Johari on the official opening of a library in Sibu next week.

Accompanying Hamid were members of the State Library board of directors.

The second visit was from a steering committee of the Sri Aman Development Agency (Sada) led by its chairman and Batang Lupar MP Datuk Sri Rohani Karim.

The visit was to give updates to the chief minister on the development of Sada and to seek advice on its official registration.
