‘Lick It, Crunch It’

PETALING JAYA: Mondelez International today introduced its latest product variant, Oreo Chocolate Coated cookie, to the Malaysian market.

Priced at RM2.70 per packet, this new product is a collaboration between Mondelez International’s two favourite brands — Oreo and Cadbury Dairy Milk.

Mondelez International’s senior marketing manager, Biscuits and Snacks (Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand) Simon Crowther, during the product launch here, said the company wanted to create a product “that breaks free from the conventional mould of its other product variations”.

“As a brand that prides itself on its playfulness, we believe the introduction of Oreo Chocolate Coated will inspire our consumers to stay playful in their ways of coming up with more creative and fun ways of indulging in this product,” he said.

Made in Egypt, the Oreo Chocolate is now making its debut in the Southeast Asian market, after being launched in regions such as South Africa, Australia, India, the United Kingdom and United States of America.

This product also brings forth an all-new twist in the iconic “Twist, Lick, Dunk” catchphrase in eating the cookie.

With the Oreo cookie being coated in Cadbury Dairy Milk chocolate, a new expression “Lick It, Crunch It” is introduced for the Oreo Chocolate Coated. – Bernama
