KUCHING: Limkokwing University senior vice-president Datuk Gail Phung has clarified that Tan Sri Lim Kok Wing is in stable condition and recuperating after a fall.
“He was hospitalised following a fall in his house. We are pleased to inform that his condition is stable and kindly request that he be given complete privacy so he can focus on his recovery.
“Once again, we are grateful and fully appreciate every one’s interest in his wellbeing,” she said in a statement today (May 25).
Earlier, rumours had spread on social media that Lim, the university’s founder, had passed away after contracting Covid-19 and after being warded in the intensive care unit (ICU).
