The ‘Peace Poster’ contest is launched.

MIRI: The ‘Peace Poster’ contest themed ‘Lead with Compassion” for the Lions Clubs International of District 308-A2 Region 4 in Zone 9 and Zone 10 was launched on Yesterday (Aug 16), aimed to give school students and young people the chance to express their visions of peace and inspire the world through art and creativity.

This contest was launched by Lions Clubs International of District 308-A2 District Governor Kapitan Connie Loh Ming Hua at the Canada Hill “Miri” signboard.

“Winners of the contest will receives cash prizes, certificates and trophies,” she said.

The first prize winner’s poster in District 308A2 will compete in the MD 308 contest.

“The winning MD 308’s poster will then move to international level to compete for the top prize at the international contest and the Grand Prize winner will be awarded at the United Nations,” Loh added.

Students aged 11, 12 and 13 as of Nov 15, 2022 are eligible to participate.
