KUALA LUMPUR: The following are the replies made by the relevant agencies to the Quick Response Team of the Communications and Multimedia Ministry (KKMM) on fake news that went viral on social media as of 11am today.
- The Women, Family and Community Development Ministry has denied issuing the statement enclosing a list of telephone numbers of state officials, for the purpose of applying for COVID-19 assistance and contributions from non-governmental organisations (NGOs).
- Negeri Sembilan Mufti Department has debunked the claim by Abi Ali Addabiziri, who in Year 565 in the book Aza’imu Duhur predicted the current COVID-19 pandemic. – Bernama
