KUCHING: A small hut (pondok) at Jalan Liu Shan Bang, Kota Sentosa here caught fire on Monday (Nov 23).
The State Fire Department operations centre was told about it around 2.30pm and firemen from Batu Lintang fire station were despatched to the scene.
Operations commander Raffy Saibi said that the 15-by-20-foot wooden hut was ablaze when the firemen arrived.
The owner of the hut was not present at that time, and the fire was put out at 3.20pm.
The fire did not cause injury to anyone and its cause has yet to be ascertained.
