KUCHING: Batu Kitang assemblyman Lo Khere Chiang recently went on the ground to monitor the implementation of several projects under the rural transformation programme (RTP) in his constituency.
First, he visited Kampung Betong to look at the repair of the village’s bridge ― the project was worth RM100,000.
“The project implementation agency, Public Works Department (JKR) Kuching today made its final inspection together with the contractor and Ketua Kaum Kampung Betong Jong Likan,” he said in a Facebook posting on Friday.
Lo also visited Kampung Sebuak. A jetty will be built in the village soon.
“JKR Kuching, as the implementing agency, will design the project and monitor it,” he said.
