LUNDU: Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg dream of turning Sematan into Sarawak’s Dubai needs the support and cooperation of the local authority.

“Although we can’t be 100 per cent like Dubai, but we will try to make his (Abang Johari) dream come true.

“This will be our vision and mission and we will always strive to achieve it,” Tanjong Datu assemblyman Azizul Annuar Adenan said today.

He was speaking during the reappointment and swearing-in ceremony of Lundu District Council members.

“I hope the reappointed council members will devote their service to ensuring that Lundu District Council achieves the vision and mission.”
