MIRI: The people of Long Lama have been told to uphold harmony and understanding between the community, despite practising different religions.

“Live in harmony and respect one another,” advised Telang Usan assemblyman Dennis Ngau.

Speaking at the handing over of assistance and launching of “Kampung Angkat Saudara Kita Long Lama” recently, he said all races regardless of their religions must stay united and help one another for the betterment of the area (Long Lama).

“I am happy to see that the people in Telang Usan has continued to stay united regardless of their religions,” he said.

Aware of the increasing number of communities of various religions in Long Lama, it is about time that worship houses and facilities, especially the mosque in the area should be upgraded.
