
KUCHING: Repok Assemblyman Datuk Seri Huang Tiong Sii has recently contributed food aid to the residents at two longhouses near the Sarikei district which have been placed under the enhanced movement control order (EMCO).
Residents of Rumah Allin Sungai Seleku started its lockdown on Wednesday which will commence till July 30, while Rumah Jawi Sungai Bulat was placed under the EMCO starting from today (15 July) and till July 31.
All residents at the longhouses had received food aid today which was delivered to the longhouses respectively by Kapitan Ling Dien Yong, the assemblyman’s representative, and the Repok Service Centre team.
The food aid was successfully distributed to 140 residents at 30 doors of Rumah Allin and 32 doors with 130 residents at Rumah Jawi.
In total, 62 longhouse doors or 270 residents received food assistance.
