KUCHING: Members of the Sarawak Community Policing Association (SCPA) conducted a crime prevention patrol at Pelita Heights here last weekend.

The patrol was led by its chairman, Datuk Dr Lau Pang Heng.

According to Lau, SCPA distributed crime prevention leaflets to residents who were very appreciative of the association’s efforts to work with the police and neighbourhood to build a safer community.

“SCPA promotes goodwill among neighbourhoods by looking after each other in the community.

“Members of the public who notice suspicious individuals in their neighbourhoods should inform the police immediately,” he said in a statement on Monday.

Also present were SCPA deputy chairman Datuk Seri Victor Hii; executive committee member Christine Tsan; and assistant secretary David Hii who is also from Pelita Heights.
