Miro Simuh

BAU: Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) deputy Youth chief Miro Simuh hopes that with the appointment of Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin as the new prime minister, the country will move towards a more positive direction.

He said it was every Malaysian’s hope that the country’s turmoil in the past week would end soon.

Miro hoped with the new government, there would be less political bickering among each other once and for all.

Met at SK Serabak Bau yesterday, he added, “I hope the coming government will be a united one, fair to everybody regardless of political background, religion and race.

“We can’t play the racial card anymore. Everybody must be equal, opportunities must be equally shared and it is time to bring back the glory of what Malaysia was before,” he stressed.

Miro, who is also the Serembu assemblyman, hoped that once the situation returned to normal, both the federal and state governments could work together and proceed with government projects.

“We cannot further delay any of these projects because the people need them,” he said.
