KUCHING: The four component parties of Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) are fully behind Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg.

Parti Rakyat Sarawak (PRS) youth chief Datuk Snowdan Lawan (pic) said the question of members of GPS jumping ship does not arise because they believe in the leadership of Abang Johari.

“Therefore, I am saying what Sarawak Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) information chief Desmond Kho said about GPS members joining his party is off the mark.

“It is his claim and there is no truth to that.

“Unless he is able to justify, come up with who, where, which division, or in other words the identity of those GPS members, I say it is just PKR’s game of perception.”   Snowdan said PKR is good in the game of perception which basically means creating an issue and presenting this as real to their listeners.

“Of course, there are ulterior motives involved. They want to divert people’s attention away from what is happening to their central leadership…between Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali.
“The rifts and cracks within PKR are no longer invisible. The party is splitting, and Kho certainly knows this.”

Snowdan said under the present scenario, no GPS members in their right mind would ever think of wanting to join PKR.
“On the contrary, there are PKR members out there who are fed up with the jostling and backstabbing and considering jumping ship, if not into GPS to other parties,” Snowdan said.
