PADAWAN: Magnum’s commitment to the needy and less fortunate in society is reflected through its “Magnum Cares” Community Support. The firm responds to the needs of the less fortunate in the communities it serves.

“We realise that there are many less fortunate people in our society who need financial assistance to overcome difficulties in life.

“They include orphans, homeless elderly, single parents, people with illness and those who are physically disabled.

“Through our Community Support Programme, this initiative will help them to overcome such challenges,” a statement from Malaysia’s leading lottery firm said yesterday (April 18).

Magnum donated to Menah Rengum, who is suffering from Basal Ganglia stroke and is unable to work due to the illness.

Menah who is married with five children and is the sole breadwinner of the family is also seeking financial assistance to ease the family’s financial burden on medical and daily expenses.

Magnum donated a cheque for RM1,500 to Menah.
