KUCHING: MagnumCares, in its recent outreach initiative, has extended the support to Dayak communities in Kuching, Miri, Bintulu, and Sibu as part of the Gawai celebration.

According to the press statement, MagnumCares remains committed to providing food necessities to 423 families from seven Dayak communities. Additionally, it will contribute donations to 13 charitable homes located throughout these areas.

The contribution, amounting to RM65,000 worth of festive gift packs, essential household necessities, and cheque donations, will be presented to the villagers and identified charity homes.

“MagnumCares is steadfast in its determination to bring festive cheer, ensuring its continued support will bring greater joy and happiness to the Dayak community,” the statement said.

Highlighting their efforts to preserve the authentic Bidayuh culture and traditions, as well as support tourism activities in rural areas, MagnumCares will sponsor and contribute towards the Gawai Carnival Redeems event for the first time this year. The event is scheduled to take place in July this year.
