SRI AMAN: Community leaders have been told to think deeply about the direction of the people they lead.

Community Wellbeing Assistant Minister and Simanggang assemblyman Datuk Francis Harden Hollis gave the advice during a friendly visit to Taman Sentosa Indah in conjunction with the appointment of new members of the Village Development and Security Committee (JKKK) RPR Phase II for the 2020-2021 terms recently.

“If the direction is wrongly chosen, it will cause future generations to be neglected and marginalised.

“Only Sarawakians know the needs and aspirations of their own development.

“The Sarawak government’s fight under the Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) is clear and aims to develop the infrastructure in the state,” said Francis.

He congratulated the new members led by new chairman Terence Ajit Kana.

Terence then presented the list of new committee members to him.

The gathering, held at the residence of Terence, was attended by about 200 people.
