Make sure all employees are vaccinated

Date:

SIBU: All employers in this district must ensure that all their employees have received the Covid-19 vaccine.

The Sibu Covid-19 Immunisation Task Force (CITF), in a statement on Monday (Jul 12), said company and shop owners were instructed to send a list of names of their employees who have yet to receive their jabs to the relevant authorities immediately.

“We appeal to all employers to send in the full names along with identity card numbers and telephone numbers of their employees who have yet to receive their vaccination to the Sibu Health office or the Covid-19 Vaccination Secretariat at the Sibu Indoor Stadium vaccination centre immediately.

“This is to make it easier for the parties concerned to arrange an appointment date as well as make calls to the employees (who have not received their jabs yet),” the statement said, adding that the closing date to send in the details of employees is July 31.

Employers were instructed to do so immediately to accelerate the Covid-19 National Immunisation Programme in the district.
