KEMENA: Sebauh folks are advised to make a wise choice by choosing a stable and strong government such as Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS).

Food Industry, Commodity and Regional Development Minister cum Kemena assemblyman Datuk Seri Dr Stephen Rundi Utom stated that GPS is capable in bringing the voice of Sarawakians to the Dewan Rakyat to fight for their rights that have long been eroded in the Malaysia Agreement 1963 (MA63).

“With this, it allows us in Sarawak to govern according to our own standards while following the aspirations and wishes of the people under the leadership of Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg,” he said in a statement from Sarawak Public Communications Unit (UKAS).

He said this when officiating at the 13th Series of the Agriculture Community Outreach Programme (AgriCOP) organised by the Department of Agriculture Bintulu Division at the Michael Donald House, Ulu Satai here on Saturday.

He shared that when he was in the Barisan Nasional (BN), Sarawak’s BN voice was not heard.

“So with the establishment of GPS, it has helped a lot in strengthening the state’s position in managing the governance of Sarawak in its own way without depending on outside parties as before,” he said.

With that, he urged the people to give their full support to GPS to ensure that the voice of the people of Sarawak is heard while the state is able to demand their rights as enshrined in MA63.
