MAKSAK Sarawak gives cash aids to 130 state civil service staff

KUCHING: A total of 130 recipients from the state civil service yesterday received cash aids of RM100 each as Gawai-Raya contribution from MAKSAK Sarawak.

The aids were presented by the Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg and his wife, Datuk Amar Juma’ani Tun Tuanku Bujang.

The presentation was held in conjunction with the breaking of fast event hosted by the State Secretary Tan Sri Datuk Amar Mohd Morshidi Abdul Ghani, who is also the chairman of MAKSAK Sarawak.

After the presentation, the chief minister and other guests performed the Solat Sunat Tarawih.

Also present were Deputy Chief Ministers Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas and Tan Sri Datuk Amar Dr James Jemut Masing, DUN Speaker Datuk Amar Mohamad Asfia Awang Nassar, assistant ministers, deputy state secretaries, and heads of state and federal government departments.
