Malayan civet handed over to forestry official

MIRI: A good Samaritan who came across an injured Malayan Civet on the road near Sekolah Agama Miri has handed the endangered animal to the Sarawak Forestry Corporation (SFC) Miri office.

SFC in a statement, said the mammal was handed to them today (Monday).

The statement said the good Samaritan had taken care of the injured mammal before handing it over to the SFC for further action.

The mammal will be released back to its habitat in Lambir National Hills.
