LAWAS: A man was arrested by police for slashing his younger brother at their house in Kampung Batu Tiga, Jalan Trusan here on Tuesday.
According to the victim in his 20’s, the incident occurred at around 3.00pm when his 28-year-old brother suddenly took out a machete and attacked him. As a result of the attack, he sustained a slash wound on the head.
The victim’s father, who was alerted on the incident by his mother, immediately lodged a police report.
A police team from Lawas Police Station rushed to the scene and detained the suspect as well as seizing the machete.
The 28-year-old suspect was being detained at the police station lockup to facilitate investigation under Section 324 of the Penal Code.
