MIRI: A woman reported on Tuesday (Feb 22) that her brother-in-law assaulted her.
The incident allegedly occurred at her house in Bandar Baru Permyjaya around 6pm.
The suspect, 57, suddenly went berserk and punched the victim, 62, on her face.
Acting on the report lodged, a police team detained the suspect for questioning.
The case is being investigated under Section 506 and 323 of the Penal Code.
