MIRI: A 46-year-old foreign man was killed in an accident at KM16 Jalan Kuala Baram By Pass here around 7am today.
The deceased, a labourer identified as Irrai Pajat Said, was on his way to his workplace prior to the accident, said Sarawak Traffic Investigation and Enforcement chief Supt Alexson Naga Chabu.
According to Alexson, he was trying to switch lanes when he lost control of his bike and rammed into the road divider.
He was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel from Miri Hospital.
The case is being investigated under Section 41(1) of The Road Transport Act 1987.
