MIRI: A man in his 50s was on his way to his relatives’ house for Chinese New Year visit when he was told a snake was dangling from underneath his car Wednesday morning.

The 10-foot-reptile was spotted by other road users while the car was navigating the Pelita Roundabout at 9am.

The man immediately pulled over and must have thanked his lucky star because just then a team of eight Miri fire personnel happened by.

The team led by its operation commander Abang Muhd Fadhil took less than 15 minutes to remove the reptile from the vehicle.

The snake curls on the road after Bomba managed to remove it.
