TAPAH: A man was found dead in an unnumbered house at Kampung Cina Tapah, Mile 22, Kuching-Serian Road here on Saturday (Nov 21).
Padawan district deputy police chief DSP Lim Jaw Shyong said Tapah police station received a call on the discovery at 2.15pm, and a team of police personnel and paramedics was despatched to the scene.
“Examinations revealed that there were no signs of foul play and the body is now at the forensic department of Serian Hospital,” he said.
The deceased is identified as Suhaimi Anuar, 62, from Kuala Lumpur, who is a permanent resident of Sarawak.
Lim added that the police are currently searching for the deceased’s next-of-kin to assist in the investigation and funeral arrangement.
