MIRI: A man was found dead in a street here. He was believed to have fallen down from a building and police have classified the case as sudden death report (SDR).
Miri OCPD ACP Alexson Naga Chabu, when met by reporters, said that investigations were ongoing.
“Initial investigation showed there were no criminal elements.
“Therefore, the case is classified as SDR. However, we still need to wait for reports from the autopsy,” he said while receiving a courtesy call from members from the Northern Sarawak Journalist Association at the Miri district police headquarters, today.
The man’s body was found today by a pedestrian at 8 am at Jalan Boulevard 2A in the Boulevard Commercial Centre.
There were significant injuries to the body due to the fall from a building.
