Man found dead

KUCHING: Police are currently investigating the case of a 47-year-old man who was found dead in a house at Taman BDC on Saturday morning (Aug 7).

It was said that the man was found by his sister when she peeped through a window around 8.30am and paramedics pronounced the victim dead at the scene.

District police chief ACP Ahsmon Bajah when contacted, confirmed that they had received an alert pertaining to the incident.

“Investigations found that there were no signs of foul play at the scene.

“We are currently investigating the case under sudden death,” he said.

The victim’s body was brought to Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) for post-mortem.

Earlier, a team of firefighters arrived at the scene to open the locked door of the house.
