The man seen in a viral social media video assaulting a woman in a fit of road rage has been apprehended by the authorities.

According to reports, he was taken into custody on Wednesday and brought to the Tapah District Police Headquarters for further investigation.

In the widely circulated 59-second video, the man, driving a Proton Persona, deliberately blocked the victim’s vehicle and approached her.

He proceeded to tap on the driver’s window, unleashing a barrage of offensive language before physically shoving her head.

The incident involving the man in the red shirt has sparked discussions online, with other women coming forward to share their own encounters with him. He is accused of behaving aggressively towards an employee at a steamboat restaurant in Cameron Highlands on June 4.

It is alleged that he engaged in aggressive behaviour, repeatedly slapping an employee, seemingly triggered by the delayed arrival of his food order.
