KUCHING: The Session’s Court here today sentenced a local man to five years’ imprisonment and one stroke of the cane for involving in illegal drugs.
Sessions Court Judge Jason Juga sentenced Asikin Sabli, 25, after he pleaded guilty to the charge read to him by an interpreter.
The court ordered Asikin to serve his sentence starting today. He was accused of consuming amphetamine and methamphetamine drugs at the Narcotics and Criminal Investigation Department of the district police headquarters building at Jalan Simpang Tiga at 3.10pm on Oct 3 last year.
