BINTULU: Losing control of his vehicle and hitting a tree cost the life of the male driver in a crash that occurred this morning.
The deceased Po Ah Ho, 46, was driving along Jalan Johari Sunam here when he lost control of his Perodua Alza before hitting a tree.
According to the statement from the Bintulu District Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Division, they received information of the fatal accident at 7.05 am.
“At the time of the accident, the victim was on his way from the town centre towards his residence in Taman Golden Villa.
“Upon arrival at the scene, the victim lost control of the vehicle he was driving and skidded into the middle of the road divider and hit a tree at the road divider,” he said.
The victim was pronounced dead on the spot by medical officers at the crash site.
Case investigation comes under Section 41 (1) of the Road Transport Act (RTA) 1987.
